Epson Debuts Classroom Document Camera
Epson has introduced a new document camera designed for classroom use. The new model is expected to be available for a little less than $400 when it ships in May.
The DC-06 is an XGA resolution document camera (1,024 x 768) that offers USB connectivity for computer-free operation with Epson PowerLite projectors. Other features include:
- 4x digital zoom;
- A one-push auto focus button;
- A built-in LED light for illuminating pages or 3D objects;
- Image freeze;
- 90-degree horizontal and vertical rotation of the lens and arm; and
- Built-in support for use in conjunction with interactive whiteboards.
The Epson DC-06 document camera is expected to be available next month for $399. Further information can be found here.
