Digital Content Provider Launches Medical Technology Database
Digital content provider ebrary has launched a subscription database designed to make research into health care technology and equipment easier and more efficient.
The database offers full-text publications and other research materials covering all key medical technology topics, including biomedical engineering and materials, imaging systems, medical instruments, nanotechnology, and tissue engineering. Also included is access to titles from several leading medical publishers, including Elsevier's Academic Press and Taylor & Francis' CRC Press.
Some of the most popular and widely searched titles accessible through the ebrary database include: Handbook of Materials for Medical Devices, edited by J.R. Davis (ASM International, 2003); Biomedical Engineering Desk Reference by Buddy D. Ratner, Joseph Dyro, and Sverre J. Grimnes (Elsevier, 2009); Medical Instrumentation: Accessibility and Usability Considerations by Jewgeni H. Dshalalow and Jack M. Winters (Taylor & Francis, 2006); and VLSI Circuit Design for Biomedical Applications by Kris Iniewski (Artech House, 2008).
