For-Profit Community Care College Updates ERP to CAMS Enterprise

Community Care College, a for-profit institution with three schools in Tulsa, is updating its enterprise resource planning system to CAMS Enterprise from Three Rivers Systems. Community Care serves as the main campus to both Clary Sage College and Oklahoma Technical College, which all operate under the same ownership.

CAMS Enterprise is a Web-based suite of services that manages admissions, student information, financial aid, student services, human resources, payroll, fundraising, alumni relations, document management, learning management, and student and staff self-service.

The college chose CAMS over other ERP contenders, it said in a statement, because it was the best solution for for-profit school operations, could handle overlapping term lengths, and manage unique financial-aid packages and diverse program tracks. In addition, the school found CAMS was easier to use than alternatives and provided more robust reporting functions, including a pre-built activity report for admissions.

"We looked for years for the right ERP solution for our three colleges--a system not only heavily focused on CRM but also designed on a single database server," said Community Care CEO Teresa Knox. "By combining its holistic solution with modern technology and superior support, CAMS Enterprise gives us what we need to fulfill the mission of our institution. We are confident CAMS will enhance the quality and measurable effectiveness of nearly every division within our organization."
