DisplayNote Launches App for Presentation and Collaboration

At InfoComm 2012 this week in Las Vegas, DisplayNote Technologies announced the release of a new app that allows users to present, capture, share, and collaborate on ideas across any device, such as an iPad, laptop, Android tablet, smartphone, or iPod Touch. DisplayNote allows users to capture a presenter's content, add their own notes, save the session, or e-mail it for later review. The app works alongside any software application, so that connected devices can capture content from PowerPoint presentations, Excel files, and Word documents, as well as images, web content, video, and more.

In collaboration mode, annotations and images on users' devices can be displayed back on the main presentation screen or viewed by other users. Multiple devices can all work on the same presentation.

In presenter mode, instructors can use their tablet, phone, or computer to control their desktop, pass control to any other connected device, send and receive private messages to audience members, build collaborative groups, and view the screen of any connected device.

DisplayNote is currently being piloted at universities, schools, and businesses across Europe, with pilots due to begin in the US this August.
