Joint Venture Between Marshall Electronics and StreamVu TV Enables Live Video Streaming
At InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas, Marshall Electronics, maker of broadcast video equipment and professional microphones, announced a joint venture with StreamVu TV. Now, using a Marshall Producer Station with a connection to StreamVu TV, organizations can stream live video to an unlimited number of locations and viewing stations. Users can tune in to the broadcast on any computer.
The Producer Station is available either in standard definition with composite input (model PS-11; MSRP: $399), high-definition HDMI input (model PS-102-HDI; MSRP: $999), or high-definition HDSDI input (model PS-102-HDSDI; MSRP: $1,999). The StreamVu TV service starts at $.50 per GB of data transfer, with no minimum data usage requirements.
"We all know that people respond to a message better when they can see the person delivering the message," said Perry Goldstein, Marshall Electronics Sales and Marketing Manager, in a company statement. "The Marshall/StreamVu solution makes that communication possible at a cost that has not been available until now. A simple connection to the Producer Station and StreamVu can be done by the IT manager in a few minutes.”
