Higher One Adds Campus Intelligence to Campus Labs Suite
Higher One has revealed a new data analytics tool designed to provide higher education administrators insight into instructional effectiveness and student progress.
The software, Campus Intelligence, is part of Higher One's Campus Labs suite. It allows colleges and universities to pull data from a variety of disparate systems, including student information systems, learning management systems, ERP systems, individual course evaluations, faculty evaluations, student refund data, and other sources. Higher One's software is used in more than 1,250 higher education institutions, according to the company's reckoning. Campus Intelligence debuted at the Educause 2012 conference, taking place this week in Denver, CO.
"Campus Intelligence empowers the campus by bringing numerous data inputs together and analyzing the impact of certain elements of the campus experience," said Eric Reich, senior vice president, Campus Labs at Higher One, in a prepared statement. "Intuitive, powerful dashboards and analytic reporting enable the user to uncover information from demographic, experiential, and institutional data sets to help improve student learning and success. Campus Intelligence is a groundbreaking analytics solution that has low barriers to implementation, so that an institution can gain maximum benefit from the product right away."
