Regent U Adds Business Software To Expand Offerings, Improve Retention

Regent University Professional and Continuing Education is adopting business software designed for non-traditional institutions of higher education in an effort to increase growth and enhance current offerings.

The school is deploying Destiny One to help staff "save time by using collaborative workflows and automated business processes, while simultaneously allowing them to get a better picture of student needs through profile development, record management and data reporting," according to a news release.

The platform will be used to make new offerings available more quickly by automating the creation, approval and publishing of new curricula. Regent will also use Destiny One to refine recruitment and retention efforts by segmenting populations of current and prospective students.

Destiny One will integrate with the school's current student information system, Ellucian's Banner, to eliminate redundancies.

"As a leader in providing professional development to faith-based organizations around the world, we wanted a platform that both incorporates best practice and meets our unique needs," said Julianne Cenac, assistant vice president of Professional and Continuing Education at Regent University, in a prepared statement. "Destiny One will enable us to accelerate the growth of existing programs and the launch of new programs, while also providing the best possible experience for our students."
