U California Campuses Offer Virtual College Fair

High school students who are considering attending any of the University of California campuses will be able to attend a virtual college fair Thursday, October 2.

CollegeWeekLive, an online channel that connects students and colleges, will host the fair from noon to 10 p.m. Eastern standard time.

Prospective students will be able to learn about the University of California and speak live with admissions officers and students. Six interactive video chats are scheduled with representatives from different campuses:

The virtual college fair will allow high school juniors and seniors to ask questions about the application process, academics, student life and financial aid.

Students who log in and join at least three chats with UC campus representatives will automatically be entered in a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship offered by CollegeWeekLive.

To learn more about how a high school can participate in the UC virtual college fair or any of the other virtual fairs CollegeWeekLive presents, e-mail [email protected] or call 888-697-0050.\
