Penn State World Campus is rolling out Tutor.com's personalized learning services for the institution's 12,000 students and faculty worldwide. Students will gain 24/7 access to more then 3,000 tutors in 40-plus subjects, from math and economics to science and nursing. "Each live, online session focuses on the student's needs and questions and is archived, including images, lesson transcripts and tutor feedback," according to a press release.

Faculty will have access to Tutor.com's Predictive Insights data analytics platform, which provides "detailed reports on individual student strengths and needs, subject areas, objectives and trend data across cohorts and classes" — all intended to help faculty identify curricular and instructional-design issues, as well as spot at-risk students and provide support.
