Survey: Google Most Preferred Place to Work for MBAs

Google is now the most popular place to work for MBA students, according to a survey by Universum, a branding consultancy.
Google moved from 129th in 2005 to 2nd in 2006 and first this year, said Universum. Google bumped management consultant firm McKinsey & Co., which has been in first place in the survey for 12 years.
Universum said it polled 5,451 MBA students in its survey.
Information technology companies went up overall, the company said. Google maintained its No. 1 position. Apple moved to sixth from seventh position in 2006, while Microsoft jumped from the 16th position to seventh.
