FinishLine 3 Expands Retention Prediction Model
Jenzabar has released a new version of its student retention system and renamed it FinishLine.
FinishLine, formerly Retention Management Solution, is a portal-based analytics solution that's designed to provide insight into a range of sometimes disparate data systems--including finance, student affairs, registration, academic affairs, and others--to identify students at risk and trigger an appropriate intervention,. It supports multiple retention models and offers reporting, at-a-glance analytics, and scoring based on three key factors: student-related, institutional, and external.
FinishLine 3 expands on the variety of prediction models supported, offering models for focusing on specific student cohorts, such as incoming first-time freshmen and transfer students.
Other enhancements in the latest release include:
- Expanded student information features;
- New workflows for managing interventions, including tracking of alerts and followups, across the "entire student support community, including advisors, faculty, coaches, tutors, financial counselors and mentors";
- New features designed to enhance usability; and
- 'Significant' improvements to the UI.
