AmpliVox Debuts Compact Line Array Speaker System

At InfoComm 2012 in Las Vegas, AmpliVox will unveil its new compact line array speaker system. The recently launched system is available in three designs and can be mounted horizontally or vertically, according to a statement released by the company.

AmpliVox's Line Array System models include:

  • A passive speaker that connects to any audio system with spring wire terminals
  • An amplified speaker, which includes a 50-watt peak audio amp that can be used on its own or with the passive speaker for greater sound coverage
  • A 16-channel wireless microphone kit that includes either a handheld or lapel microphone

All designs measure 17" x 3.4" x 5", weigh less than five pounds, and feature a "C" shape mounting bracket for wall installation. The amplified model also includes a power on/off switch and a 110-VAC wall adapter.

The company will also debut its Radio Hailer communication system—a wireless PA speaker—and 12 new lecterns, podiums, public safety sound systems, and audio products at the show. The Radio Hailer enables users to send live voice messages from a portable two-way radio, base station, or mobile radio to PA speakers positioned up to one mile away.

Additional information about the Line Array speaker system and other audio products can be found at the company's InfoComm booth #C10816 or at its Web site.
