Meru Launches WiFi Bundles for Education with Free Support and Controllers

Meru Networks is launching six new wireless networking bundles designed to cut hardware and support costs for colleges and universities.

The Meru Education-Grade bundles allow institutions to pay only for access points. As part of the bundle, access point licensing and three years of support are included free. Additionally, schools can choose from three WLAN controllers at no additional cost. Choices include the MC1550, MC3200, and MC4200 controllers.

All of the systems provide onboard provisioning for BYOD, with support for 802.1X.

The latest Meru Education-Grade bundles are available now.

In other Meru news, the company reported today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Douglas Stewart Co. Under the agreement, DSC will provide Meru Education-Grade solutions through its distribution network.
