Ivy Tech Community College Managing IT Services With Eclipse PPM
Ivy Tech Community College, Indiana's largest public postsecondary institution serving nearly 200,000 students annually, is deploying Eclipse PPM project portfolio management software from Solution Q.
In the past, IT projects at the institution were frequently hampered by manual processes impacting the areas of intake and prioritization. It was not uncommon for projects to be put on hold while more important projects were taken on. Through a formal change management process, Ivy Tech has been able to focus on consolidating all of its IT services and evaluate process improvement projects.
Ivy Tech turned to Eclipse PPM to help create automated processes, track and report on progress, better understand resource constraints and apply greater consistency throughout. The software can handle a range of projects, from simple tasks to complex, in-depth efforts.
