Campus Management Expands CampusNet Cloud
Campus Management has expanded
its
CampusNet Cloud service to include a new enterprise-level offering, so
educational institutions can use the service for learning management systems,
financial applications and other applications, as well as Campus Management
applications.
CampusNet Cloud is a service from Campus Management that hosts and manages
software for higher education from an enterprise data center. According to the
company, the service can be deployed rapidly and customized as needed, and it
offers maximum availability, security and scalability. Other Campus Management
applications include
CampusVue Student,
Talisma CRM,
CampusVue Portal,
CampusVue Forms Builder,
CampusVue Performance Analytics,
Talisma Fundraising,
CampusVue Finance and
CampusVue HR & Payroll. With the expansion of CampusNet Cloud, universities
and colleges can use Campus Management's cloud infrastructure to move their
third-party applications into the CampusNet Cloud managed environment.
"With Campus Management's new enterprise-level offering, we are enabling
institutions to quickly migrate their infrastructure to the cloud and benefit
from having its applications — i.e. student information system, CRM, etc. —
managed simultaneously," said Connor Gray, chief strategy officer of Campus
Management, in a prepared statement.
Key features of the expanded CampusNet Cloud include:
- Secure multi-tenant environment;
- Integration with SQL Server and Active Directory through a private
network;
- Support for third-party application deployment alongside the Campus
Management portfolio;
- Ability to add servers, storage and processing power to the private
cloud;
- Administrator access to hosted servers; and
- Ability to customize and integrate as needed.
