Workforce Training and Continuing Education Software Gets New Features for Admins

Academic and admin software provider Jenzabar is updating its administrative platform for continuing education and workforce development with improvements for administrators and better interplay with other software programs.

The software, called Higher Reach, is designed to let various higher ed stakeholders -- such as students, instructors, and staff -- interact or otherwise complete various online tasks. It includes processes such as online billing, registration, and course management.

According to the company, it is used mainly by research institutions, small private colleges, community colleges, and online schools. The new update is specific to the continuing education and workforce management module, an optional subset of the overall Higher Reach software.

New additions to the software in the latest update, version 4.3, include a special browser for administrators, a toolset for integrating with complementary programs, and the usual upgrades to user experience.

Jenzabar is exhibiting at the Educause conference in Orlando at booth No. 1101.
