Where can I find things to do in San Francisco, CA?

One of the most celebrated San Francisco California hotels, The Argent Hotel, has been renovated and re-branded as The Westin San Francisco Market Street.

An oasis of sophistication in the heart of the South of Market district, this four-star hotel is a short, scenic cable car ride from Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Alcatraz ferry. Nearby, you’ll find the shops and boutiques of Union Square and the brand-new Westfield San Francisco Centre, and you’re just minutes away from a wide array of museums, theaters, and attractions. ADA Compliance - Special meal restrictions

If you have a specific allergy(s) or are a vegetarian, and require modifications to the general lunch, please contact Sara Ross at sross@1105media.com or at 1.972.506.9027. The Westin San Francisco Market Street Hotel is ADA compliant.

What meals are included with registration?

Coffee and tea service will be available before workshops begin in the morning. Additionally, the hotel restaurant located inside the hotel, is open for breakfast. You'll also find cafes and coffee houses within walking distance from the hotel. Monday's no-host Lunch on the Town offers attendees the opportunity to not only meet colleagues and network, but do so while experiencing your choice of the many restaurants San Francisco offers--all on your own and at your leisure. For all paid attendees, lunch is provided Tuesday.

Hotel/Travel/Shuttles
Will there be Internet access in my hotel room?

Yes, all rooms feature high-speed internet access available for a charge.

I am driving to the conference. Will there be parking available?

Valet parking at the Westin San Francisco Market Street is $44 USD daily with in-and-out privileges for guests staying at the hotel.

How can I get from the airport to the hotel?

The hotel is closest to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), however Oakland and San Jose International Airports are also nearby. Transportation will need to be arranged by shuttle, taxi, or rental car.

A list of available shuttle services (a.k.a. door-to-door vans) can be found online by clicking here. Prices will vary, but should be around $17 to $25 depending on pick-up location.

Networking
How can I network with peers who have similar interests?

Be a part of pre-conference networking with attendees by checking the "Attendee Networking" box when you register. Prior to the conference you will have an opportunity to introduce yourself to other attendees and arrange to meet for lunch, dinner or other break times to network.

Registration
Where can I request a receipt?

You will receive an official receipt on your badge when you check in onsite at the conference. However, if you need a receipt before you arrive, you may request one by writing to campustech@continue.uoregon.edu or by calling the registration office at 1.800.280.6218. Receipts are processed weekly.

Where may I obtain your federal tax ID information for my accounting department?

Our federal tax ID number is 20-4583700.

Do you accept Purchase Orders?

If you would like to use a Purchase Order to register, you may either input the information into the online registration form or fax the PO form with your registration to 1.541.346.3545.

How may I make changes to my registration?

You can make changes to your registration by using your confirmation code to access your registration record and make changes. You may also request changes to your registration by writing to campustech@continue.uoregon.edu or by phone at 1.800.280.6218 or by faxing your request to 1.541.346.3545.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

A 100% refund less a $50 processing fee will be given for all cancellations requested by November 2. After November 2, no refunds will be given; however, all registrations are transferable to colleagues and associates with written authorization from the original registrant.

If I cancel my conference registration will my hotel room be cancelled as well?

No, these are handled separately. You will need to call the Westin San Francisco Market Street Hotel directly. Call: 888.627.8561 or 415.974.6400.

Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes, if you include your e-mail address you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your conference registration. A formal confirmation will be sent to you approximately 4 weeks prior to the event.

Is there a charge to attend the exhibits?

Admittance to the Exhibit Hall is part of your paid registration package. It is not open for the general public.

Technical
Will printers be available for attendee use?

No, printers are not provided by show management. However the hotel has a business center with support services for your business needs.

Are there modem lines available for me to dial to my local ISP or wireless access?

There will not be modem lines available to attendees. You may use the line in your room to dial your local ISP.
