City College of San Francisco has issued a warning to its campus community that some of the college's computers have been infected with software viruses used for identity theft "for several years." MoreNortheastern State University in Oklahoma will introduce a customized version of a mobile security app this month that allows students to notify campus police about their whereabouts. MoreMissouri State University has replaced magnetic strip identification cards containing personally identifiable information printed on the card or available with a card reader with a chip-based card that the university said would be tougher for thieves to infiltrate.
