Apple Isn’t Just for Teachers Anymore
Radford University in Virginia has signed up with iTunes U, which will allow the school to create a Web site for professors and students to exchange information electronically. A school survey showed that nearly half of Radford students own iPods, so podcasts will certainly be a popular tool in the new program. This article raises an important concern about “the seamless marketing of Apple products to students simply through the repeated use and exposure to the brand.”
