OSU B-School Picks Customer Management System
The Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University has selected technology from Intelliworks as their customer resources management infrastructure. The school said the platform will help expand its constituent communications initiatives for graduate programs.
OSU will use the Intelliworks iRM Essentials to target prospects for five masters and two PhD programs. Their objective is to align the product, message, and personalization of their communication with key prospects. Robert Dooley, associate dean and director of graduate programs, predicted the new CRM tech would “improve student recruitment” at OSU.

UMassOnline Opts for Horizon Wimba For Live Instruction
UMassOnline said it chose Horizon Wimba's Live Classroom technology as the platform for all live classes and meetings across its five campuses. UMassOnline will use Live Classroom to offer live, online office hours and group work. School officials said the new technology will enhance its current asynchronous programs by providing better interactivity and connectedness between students and instructors.
Brian Douglas, chief technology officer and director of operations at UMassOnline, said the platform was chosen “because of its superior integration” with
Blackboard Learning System. "Also, our testers found it was the easiest system to get up and running quickly." Horizon Wimba specializes in collaborative software applications for the online education market.
