Kaufman is Interim UIUC CIO as of August 16

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s university librarian of nearly 7 years, Paula T. Kaufman, is now interim CIO at UIUC, stepping into the position previously held by Peter Siegel, who left his post to become vice provost and CIO at the University of California-Davis. Kaufman had been UIUC’s university librarian since 1999, a position she will return to when her responsibilities as interim CIO end.
