Former WebCT CEO Carol Vallone Joins Horizon Wimba Board

Horizon Wimba, the company specializing in Web-based collaboration applications, has announced that the former WebCT executive has joined their board of directors.

Vallone led WebCT from 1999 until the company was acquired by Blackboard Inc. in 2005. Under her leadership, WebCT’s customer base grew to include more than 1,800 institutions using the course management system.
