WikiPod: Potentially Hot Educational Tool

This Perl script lets you choose a topic on Wikipedia, then choose a storage space limitation. Then it winnows through Wikipedia and stores as much as it can on a specific topic on your handheld device. There’s one caveat about using notes on the iPod – the first time you navigate to the Notes menu after syncing with iTunes or downloading new Wikipedia articles, the iPod needs to inspect each page to see whether the links are valid.
