Rich Pickett is San Diego State University's New CIO

Rich Pickett has joined San Diego State University as chief information officer. Prior to his post at SDSU, Pickett was the director of administrative systems at the University of San Diego.

Before that he held positions at Oracle as executive director of higher education and healthcare markets, at Princeton University (NJ) as director of data administration, at James Madison University (VA) as director of systems development, and at Oregon Institute of Technology as director of academic and administrative computing.
