CafeScribe Unveils Student Collaboration Tools

Salt Lake City-based CafeScribe, an e-textbook marketplace and social network for students, has announced MyScribe, a new way for students share information, collaborate and communicate.

At CafeScribe, students can download content to their MyScribe spot and share notes and Adobe PDF files with others in the Scribe. Using a personalized space, students can connect and share with other users throughout the.

Key features of MyScribe include:
  • Import and share notes on any PDF file.
  • Highlight and automatically create summaries to review at a later time -- making studying for exams much easier.
  • Simultaneously search across a book, bookshelf, computer, Google, and Wikipedia to find answers to questions.
"With CafeScribe I can import all my PDFs and share my notes with other students," said Ben Evans, a University of Utah Information Systems Management major. “It's a huge timesaver for me.”
