Enterprise Content Management and Open Source BI Emerge at TDWI
Higher education's rapidly growing interest in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing comes at a time when many new trends and techniques are appearing in BI. The convergence of content management and BI is one, and though it is still early--there are only a few products available right now--this year's
TDWI World Conference is leading the charge with three days of classes on the topic. Searchable BI and text analytics are high on the list of capabilities that may soon become the norm for an effective BI strategy. Open source BI is also a hot topic as the industry accepts more open source product offerings. But the questions and confusion that often accompany open source offerings into the market need to be addressed--and TDWI trainers will un-muddy those waters for conference attendees.
