Brigham Young University in Idaho Moves to Jenzabar for ERP

Brigham Young University - Idaho (BYU - Idaho) has selected Jenzabar's Total Campus Management enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The suite the school will use includes Jenzabar CX, Jenzabar's Internet Campus Solution (JICS) and the Jenzabar Non-Traditional System (Jenzabar NTS).

"One of our most important goals in looking for a technology provider was to enter into a partnership that is directed at meeting our individual institutional challenges," said Spalding Jugganaikloo, CTO at BYU - Idaho.

BYU - Idaho has been running a homegrown system and saw a need to continue expanding the school's technology infrastructure to an ERP solution that could provide greater efficiency and would be extensible to an open system.

Jenzabar CX runs on UNIX with a Java-based interface. The software allows staff to access, update, store and report on data through a common database and a suite of integrated modules. Internet Campus Solution is a portal that provides a single point of access to a campus' online services. Jenzabar NTS is an administrative application for managing continuing education, degree completion, certificate and other non-traditional programs.

BYU - Idaho is a four-year private university with 13,000 students located in Rexburg, ID.
