Ultimus Releases New Version of Adaptive BPM
Ultimus has announced the release of Adaptive BPM Suite 8.1, the latest version of its business process management software. Topping the list of new features is a migration tool, allowing current users to upgrade business processes to the new version.
The new update follows last year's major release that provided a variety of enhancements, including better Microsoft SharePoint integration, SOA-based architecture, as well as a new XML data model, among others. New enhancements in version 8.1 come from specific customer feedback, and include expanded Vista support, enhanced reporting (complete with 3D graphics), as well as support for Microsoft virtual technologies.
"We designed this release to further strengthen our strategy of enabling the design, optimization, and maturation of people-centric business processes," said Chris Adams, Vice President of Product Marketing and Management, in a prepared statement. "Our goal is to provide the features and capabilities required to enable business process champions to build functional processes, then optimize and mature those processes after they go live."
According to the company, Ultimus boasts more than 1,900 customers worldwide, with a client list that includes AT&T, Tulane University, and the Colorado Community College System.
