University Medical Center at Princeton Recommends iMedica Apps

After two years of research and consideration, the Physicians' Organization of the University Medical Center at Princeton in New Jersey has chosen iMedica's electronic health record (EHR) and practice management applications to recommend to its 500-plus member physicians.

Patient Relationship Manager 2009 is the latest version of iMedica's single-database, integrated EHR and practice management solution that uses Microsoft's.NET technology. It is tailored to address the business and clinical needs of medical practices. The company also offers Transition, which provides functionality that includes e-prescribing, document management, lab results, and automated Physician Quality Reporting Initiative capabilities, without PRM 2009's full-note documentation capability.

"In choosing iMedica, we paid special attention to the company's ability to adjust its solutions to the ever-evolving needs of physicians," said John Verdoni, president of the organization. "For more than two years we watched iMedica update and improve its solutions to align with the needs that many member physicians in our organization had voiced."

Rosalie Fox, executive director, agreed. "On more than one occasion, iMedica made their management team readily accessible," she said. "This enabled our organization to familiarize itself with the company and its solutions, inside and out, adding both comfort and confidence to our decision."
