Western Kentucky U Division To Manage Outreach with CRM

The Division of Extended Learning & Outreach (DELO) at Western Kentucky University has selected Intelliworks' relationship management application to administer its programs and events. The division will use the Web-based service to send e-mail campaigns and track outreach to recipients and also manage contacts within the community.

"Previously, we just didn't have an efficient way to send e-mail campaigns, gather online inquiries and event registrations, and tie those interactions back to our contact database," said Stacey Biggs, DELO marketing manager. "Intelliworks offered a comprehensive and user-friendly system that empowers our staff to accomplish all those tasks without having to spend a lot of time learning how to use the solution."

DELO works with university faculty and departments in special educational offerings and teams up with businesses and organizations to provide customized training, plan special events, and develop degree programs that meet their specific needs.

A Spring 2009 enrollment report said that DELO had a total of 9,900 course enrollments at three campuses during that period.
