EduComm Registration Opens

Registration is now open for EduComm 2010, the education technology conference held during the InfoComm conference and trade show. This year's EduComm will be held at the Mirage Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV June 7-9, 2010. InfoComm will be held June 5-11, 2010.

The EduComm 2010 is meant to "bring together top thought leaders, innovators, and speakers to present, discuss, and navigate the unprecedented challenges and opportunities shaping the future of higher education." There are five program tracks and a number of keynotes scheduled.

The opening keynote speaker is Scott McNealy, founder of Sun Microsystems. McNealy will speak at 6:30 p.m. June 7. Other presentations will be delivered by New York Times tech columnist David Pogue and representatives from Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

The program tracks include:

  • Social Media and Web Innovation;
  • Classroom Technology;
  • Marketing Your Institution with Digital Media;
  • Facilities and Systems Support; and
  • Technology and Solution Demos.

Registration runs $695 until April 23, $745 until May 31, and $795 on site.
