Lesley U Migrates Admissions Management

Lesley University will be deploying a new application to help manage admissions. The Cambridge, MA institution is licensing Intelliworks to capture inquiries and generate reports for its multiple academic offerings, including undergraduate, graduate, degree completion, and online programs. The school reported an enrollment of 9,625 students in 2007-2008.

The university said it's looking to streamline its lead capture and follow up and to view its progress in real time.

"Our goal with Intelliworks is to increase the level of control over our admissions funnel," said Jeff Handler, vice president of enrollment management. "The old system of capturing leads required the student to register for a username and password to browse the Web site, which many students prefer not to do so early in their search process."

He added, "Years ago it was enough to set up a communications plan that would send out messaging at pre-defined intervals; but now an organization needs to be able to act upon student interests and past interactions. Intelliworks allows us to do that."

Intelliworks sells an application for constituent relationship management. Customers recently signed besides Lesley U include Colorado State University's Division of Continuing Education in Ft. Collins and Simmons College in Boston.
