Brief: CoSoSys Releases EasyLock 2

CoSoSys has unveiled the second version of its enterprise data protection encryption software, EasyLock, which protects files transported on USB flash drives and external hard drives.

EasyLock 2 allows users to encrypt--and decrypt--their files when switching between Windows, Mac OS X, Ubuntu, Linux, and openSUSE operating systems. It also integrates with Endpoint Protector, data loss prevention software supported by TrustedDevice technology. Protector blocks computers from threats when devices, such as digital cameras, USB flash drives, iPods, and MP3 players, are connected to them. EasyLock uses 256-bit AES CBC-mode encryption, and has a drag-and-drop interface that lets users simply check files for threats.
