Infinitely Virtual Offers New Cloud Hosting Plan for Education Market
Cloud server provider Infinitely Virtual today introduced Virtual Terminal Server — Standard, the first of what will eventually be four cloud hosting plans for the academic market.
Under the plan, users can access Windows applications and data from anywhere in the world. Hosted in the company's Enterprise Virtualization Environment, every Infinitely Virtual server has between 1 and 8 2.53 Ghz virtual CPUs, shared on hosts operating below 30 percent CPU utilization on average. Servers are backed by 100 percent of the RAM included in their plan, up to 16 GB, and are connected to Infinitely Virtual's virtual switch infrastructure at 1 Gbps, with Internet connectivity at 100 Mbps. The virtualization environment features a clustered NetApp SAN with RAID-DP, VMware HA clustering and clustered enterprise firewalls, with 100 percent uptime guaranteed, according to the company.
Education pricing starts at $6.65 per user/month. For more information, visit the Infinitely Virtual site.
