Epson Introduces Mobile Printer with Built-in Wireless
Epson's WorkForce WF-100 mobile printer
Epson America's new WorkForce WF-100 mobile printer enables printing on the go, thanks to built-in wireless connectivity, WiFi Direct2 for printing directly from mobile devices, and an integrated rechargeable battery.
The color inkjet printer is compatible with a range of devices, including tablets, smartphones and laptops. WiFi Direct enables printing without a router, and the built-in lithium-ion battery charges via USB or the included AC adapter. An automatic power-off feature helps conserve battery life.
Additional features include:
- Print speeds of up to 6.7 ISO ppm (black) and 3.8 ISO ppm (color);
- 1.4" color LCD control panel;
- Quick-dry inks and fade- and water-resistant prints; and
- Borderless 4" x 6" photo printing.
The WorkForce WF-100 also comes with Epson Connect3, a suite of free mobile printing solutions including Email Print, Epson Creative Print, Epson iPrint, Epson Remote Print and more. The software enables printing from Android and Kindle Fire devices, and includes support for Google Cloud Print with a Gmail or Google Drive account. Google users can print from a Chromebook and Google Chrome without installing drivers or connecting cables.
