eThink Integrates Moodle, CampusAnyware SIS

eThink Education, a company that provides technology management services for the open source Moodle learning management system (LMS), has integrated its eThink Moodle product with the EDC Technology's CampusAnyware student information system (SIS).

The integration of eThink Education and CampusAnyware will facilitate migration of course, grade, attendance and student data between the LMS and the SIS, reducing or eliminating the need for duplicate data entry. This partnership between eThink Education and EDC Technology will also enable eThink "to add customizable Moodle integrations to aid in course evaluations, institutional assessments and more," according to a news release.

"Partnering our services with eThink Education allows our clients to utilize the power of the most widely used LMS in the world, Moodle, while taking advantage of eThink's high quality, real-time integrations and exceptional support. Simply put, this partnership strengthens the learning experience for all," said Corey Benjamin, vice president of Operations for EDC Technology, in a prepared statement.

eThink Education was formed in January 2008 and became a certified Moodle partner in February 2016. The company specializes in real-time integrations with student information systems and customized client services for colleges, universities, K-12 education and other organizations. In addition to core Moodle features and SIS integration, eThink offers course evaluations, early alert and retention features, institutional assessment, e-portfolios, virtual classrooms, hosting services and support.
