Central Arizona College Adopts Administrative Suite for Scalability

Central Arizona College has adopted a suite of academic and administrative software in an effort to better serve a growing student population.

The college, with five campuses and three centers, chose to replace its legacy system, which was unable to scale with the growth the system was experiencing, with CampusNexus from Campus Management. CampusNexus includes CampusNexus Student, CampusNexus CRM and CampusNexus Finance, HR & Payroll.

"From students of Hispanic and Native American descent to constituents in Central Arizona's Lifelong Learners program, our diverse college community values the power of innovation and continuous quality improvement," said Chris Wodka, chief financial officer at Central Arizona College, in a prepared statement. "But our legacy system wasn't integrated, nor was it able to scale with our growing student population. We needed a more mobile, integrated solution that could serve faculty, staff, and students throughout the region. It also had to adapt to our long-term vision. With Campus Management, we not only gained an integrated SIS, ERP, and enterprise CRM solution in a cost-effective hosted environment, but a true partner in our continuing efforts to improve student services, retention and outcomes."

"Community college systems such as Central Arizona College continue to be a critical part of higher education in this country," said Jim Milton, CEO of Campus Management, in a news release. "They serve growing populations of nontraditional and returning students through innovative services and delivery formats, including flexible terms, competency-based education and online programs — even as public funding continues to decline. Campus Management is proud to serve Central Arizona College and its mission by providing cost effective, highly flexible and adaptable solutions, and is committed to the long-term success of the institution and its constituency."
