Blackboard Partners with Examity To Improve Online Proctoring
Blackboard has partnered with Examity in an effort to improve the efficiency, security and convenience of online assessments.
As a result of the new partnership, the two companies have developed customizations designed to improve the online learning experience, with test-taker and exam information automatically imported to the Blackboard learning management system (LMS).
Examity allows users to select a level of security appropriate for different tests and includes live, recorded and automated options.
"Combining the power of Examity's robust online proctoring platform with the functionality of our leading learning management system, Blackboard Learn, makes it easier than ever for our clients to effectively assess student learning and ensure academic integrity," said Kathleen Vieira, vice president of business development at Blackboard, in a prepared statement. "Online proctoring has become critical to ensure the integrity of any online test, and Examity sets its online testing services apart by offering the highest degree of flexibility for both organizations and students."
