CommonCoach Debuts New Tool for Common App

A new tool designed to help students with the Common App, the inli.ne browser extension for Chrome, is now available.

"inli.ne was created by former college admissions officers Anna Ivey and Alison Cooper Chisolm to demystify the Common App. It offers hints, tips and sample essays for both the core Common App questions and for the 650+ colleges that use the Common App for their college-specific supplements, including competitive colleges such as Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Duke, Columbia, University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago and Brown."

The tool also offers inli.ne Intel, a feature designed to provide insight into how admissions officers review essays and tips for helping them to stand out, as well as a test selector tool to help students decide which test scores to include and which to leave out.

"inli.ne is the distillation of years of experience advising students on how to navigate the Common App," said Anna Ivey, co-founder and CEO of CommonCoach, the makers of inli.ne, in a prepared statement. "The Common App is a wonderful tool, but completing it can actually be a complicated process that benefits from some strategy and good advice.  inli.ne is like having a college admissions coach sitting right beside you as you complete the application, helping you when you need it most."
