Lynchburg College Adopts New SIS, ERP to Improve Student Engagement
Lynchburg College has selected a new student information system (SIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform in an effort to improve engagement and stewardship.
The school has adopted CampusNexus Student, CampusNexus Cloud and CampusNexus Finance, HR and Payroll from Campus Management to reach students in a targeted manner and eliminate manual processes across campus.
The institution is changing its name from Lynchburg College to the University of Lynchburg with the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year and has recently adopted a new strategy, dubbed Vision 2020, to improve and become a national leader in student engagement over the next few years.
"Now more than ever we need a software partner to help us engage with students, families and staff, and automate and integrate processes that will help us modernize our IT infrastructure," said Jackie Almond, director of information, technology and resources at Lynchburg College, in a prepared statement. "We believe Campus Management's focus on culture, relationships and technology built for the future will enable us to engage our constituents throughout Lynchburg's branding process and help us prepare for the growth we see on the horizon."

"We are excited to be a part of the strategy to enhance operational efficiency at the institution and help them achieve and exceed their goals for growth."
