New Online Proctoring Service Launches in the U.S.

One of the founders and former CEO of online proctoring company ProctorU, Don Kassner, is launching a new venture: MonitorEDU, an online proctoring service powered by technology from ProctorExam. Kassner created Proctor U in 2008 with colleague Jarrod Morgan while serving as president of Andrew Jackson University (now known as New Charter University), and left the company in 2016.

MonitorEDU will "provide exam delivery, security and identity management services through key technology partnerships," according to a news announcement. The company's first formal partnership is with ProctorExam, an online proctoring company based in The Netherlands that licenses its web-based platform all over the world.

"The partnership with ProctorExam allows me to realize my vision of creating the 'next generation' of proctoring services based on a solid platform where we can combine human judgment with proctor assist technologies," commented Kassner in a statement.

MonitorEDU will initially focus on the U.S. market, the announcement said. For more information, visit the company website.
