This fall, students at Goucher College can save up to 70 percent off publisher list textbook prices thanks to the institution's partnership with eCampus.com. The liberal arts college in Baltimore, MD, selected eCampus.com's Virtual Bookstores in an effort to increase access to affordable course materials and streamline the ordering process, according to a news announcement.

Purchasing options in the virtual bookstore solution include new, used, rental and e-textbook, as well as a network of third-party marketplace sellers. The platform integrates with Goucher's student information system, providing students with a customized ordering process via single sign-on. When students register for courses, they will receive a personalized listing of required textbooks and can make purchases or rent materials directly from their student portal. Students will also able to use financial aid for their textbook purchases.

In addition, a dedicated "Management Team" will be available to help students and faculty with adoption of the new virtual bookstore.

"We are continually looking for ways to enhance our students' experience and are hopeful that our partnership with eCampus will offer our students streamlined access to affordable textbook options," said Ken Hall, chair of the evaluation team at Goucher College, in a statement. "The modern platform offers seamless course integration and digital options that will better support our students."
