Holistic Healthcare College Migrates Student Lifecycle Management

The American College of Healthcare Sciences, which provides holistic health education online, has selected TopSchool for student lifecycle management. The set of applications, delivered as software as a service, provides a portal for prospective students to learn about American's programs, the customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage prospects through admission, a student information system (SIS) to track and manage students from enrollment through program completion, and a reporting suite to measure outcomes.

"We like the fact that TopSchool's system is built solely for higher education," said Dorene Petersen, president of the college. "The CRM, SIS, and reporting tools are all integrated, allowing us to automate many of our processes. The system is also easy to use--its flexibility will allow us to configure it on our own as our needs evolve."

The reporting features of the TopSchool system was a major draw for the institution. "We rely on reports for so much of what we do, and with TopSchool, we can pull data from any field in the system to automatically create our own reports or [Distance Education and Training Council] reports, both of which are critical for program improvement and accreditation compliance," said Erika Yigzaw, senior vice president of the college and chair of the DETC Technology Committee. "Not only does this assist us in complying with accreditation standards, but it also allows us to easily and quickly prove compliance, both internally and for visiting accrediting teams."

DETC is an accrediting body for distance learning institutions.
