Parature Updates Customer Service App with Facebook Support

Parature has released a new version of its customer service software for higher education with enhanced features for helping schools manage their social networking efforts. The latest edition of Parature for Education, which is delivered as a Web-based service, includes the company's social media application, Parature for Facebook, which lets institutional users support students, faculty, and staff directly through Facebook. The application also includes support for Twitter among other mechanisms for customer support.
"Parature's campus-wide model enables us to extend the software into all of our support offices, empowering us to capitalize on the effects of a positive customer experience," said Cody Benson, director of Web strategy, solution and support for Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. "This approach provides our students with the ability to access information well after our offices have closed. But more importantly the institution can now track and collect customer experience metrics to implement changes in a timely manner. Campus-wide support pricing from Parature has provided a system whereby Brenau can learn more about our students, allowing us to create more value in the academic experience we offer."
Other users include the multi-campus Florida Atlantic University and Florida State University in Tallahassee.
