U New Orleans Turns to CRM for Student Recruitment
The University of New Orleans in Louisiana has reported it will deploy customer relationship management software for in its recruiting efforts.
For the deployment, the university has selected Azorus' CRM solution.
"The time has come for a new and innovative approach for this institution to attract more of the right students. We are uniquely positioned to offer students a highly relevant academic and personal experience unlike any other institution in the country. We understand that each student's journey to the front door of UNO is unique and with our new CRM capabilities from Azorus we will be able to recognize our students' needs earlier and help them as they consider one of the most important decisions of their lives," said Mike Rivault, chief marketing officer at the university.
Platform features include:
- Customized Web portals;
- Tools to analyze data;
- Activity monitoring;
- Personalized communications management;
- Event management tools;
- Recruitment data collection for high school visits; and
- Recommended strategies for recruitment.
Azorus' CRM platform also includes a feature called Social Media Intelligence, which has the ability to monitor 100 million Web sites to find out what is being said in social media about institutions.
The system is built on Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP and can work together with third-party applications for student data via XML. Each client is given a MySQL database for data storage.
The University of New Orleans has enrollment of 10,903, between graduate (2,640) and undergraduate (8,263) students.
