Technomad Releases Enhanced Options for Amplifiers

Technomad will debut a number of new product accessories at this year's InfoComm conference in Las Vegas. Among the accessories slated for unveiling are the PowerChiton breakout box, Apple AirPort Express audio streaming compatibility for PowerChiton amplifier modules, and a stainless steel mounting solution for weatherproof loudspeakers.

The PowerChiton breakout box begins shipping July 1. The breakout box includes microphone and line level inputs, a four-channel mixer, accessory cord, mounting hardware, and space to store an audio player and microphone. The weatherproof accessory supports remote installations including athletic fields and other outdoor venues.

Also new this year is support for AirPlay from PowerChiton for Apple AirPort Express users. Users can now wirelessly stream—via network or WiFi connection—iTunes audio files to an AirPort Express unit within a PowerChiton amplifier or breakout box.

Technomad's new stainless steel wall mount for its AS Series of weatherproof loudspeakers is also shipping this summer. The new accessory supports vertical or horizontal mounting and is designed to ward off weather-related erosion and simplify lighting and telephone pole installations.

Additional information about Technomad's product debuts is available at its Web site.
