Cengage Launches Instructor Competition To Highlight Digital Assignments

Cengage Learning has launched the Make it Count instructor video contest in an effort to recognize teachers who improve student engagement through use of technology.

"The contest will showcase instructors' unique best practices for increasing student engagement and success through the use of digital teaching and learning solutions," according to a news release.

To enter, instructors must submit a video two minutes long or shorter demonstrating their favorite digital assignment and how it improves student engagement to the contest's Facebook page. Submissions are due by April 13 and a panel of judges will select 10 finalists later that month. Three winners will then be selected from among the finalists by a vote of their peers. Each winner will win a scholarship donation to their institution and will be featured on the contest Web site.
