InFocus Adds 4K Model to its Jupiter Catalyst Line of Wall Processors

InFocus is launching a new model in its line of display wall processors  at the InfoComm 2016 conference taking place this week in Las Vegas. The Jupiter Catalyst 4K supports up to 12 ultra-high-definition 4K outputs (non-HDCP) on a single 3U CPU chassis supporting resolutions of of 3,840 x 2,160 per output via mini DisplayPort with four destination windows per card. Up to four expansion chassis can be added for additional outputs.

Other features of the Jupiter Catalyst 4K include:

  • Support for decoding up to 28 4K or 56 HD sources (H.264 and H.265);
  • Six-Core Xeon E5 CPU;
  • Six PCI Express 3.0 slots;
  • Expansion Chassis include seven PCI Express 2.0 slots.

Bruce, InFocus CMO, in a prepared statement. "Today, we are again exceeding customer expectations by introducing Ultra High Definition support with the same cost/performance focus that has made Catalyst the market leader for display wall processing."

The Jupiter Catalyst 4K runs the latest version of Canvas software, version 5.0, which InFocus also recently unveiled.

The Jupiter Catalyst 4K is available now. InFocus is exhibiting and demonstrating the Jupiter Catalyst 4K in booth N1417.
