eCornell Introduces Live Online Events with Cornell Faculty

WebSeries, the new subscription portal on eCornell, hosts one-hour online events for working professionals and lifelong learners.

eCornell, Cornell University’s online learning unit, now offers a monthly subscription to online events that feature presentations and interactive discussions led by university faculty and industry experts. The WebSeries service is the latest addition to eCornell’s portfolio of online professional courses and certificate programs.

Currently, WebSeries has channels on entrepreneurship, human resources and women in leadership. “Each channel offers live monthly webinars with Cornell University faculty, access to past webinars, the ability to earn CEU’s, in-event interaction with peers, and more,” according to the site.

“We’re excited to connect people around the world to useful and relevant insights from Cornell faculty in a new online format that truly supports lifelong learning,” said Paul Krause, CEO of eCornell and associate vice provost of online learning for Cornell.

Subscriptions to WebSeries are available per channel at $39 per month and $279 per year. Further information, including the most recent events, is available on the WebSeries site.
