Alderson Broaddus U Turns to Private Partner to Provide Online Degree Completion Options

Alderson Broaddus University (ABU) has teamed with a private partner to provide online courses in an attempt to help students complete their degree at a lower cost.

The university has partnered with StraighterLine, a provider of low-cost online general education courses.

"StraighterLine offers online programs that fit the needs of our students,"said Joan Propst, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs, in a prepared statement. "Many courses are good matches with courses we are offering in our classrooms and will complement our curriculum. Cost, quality and accessibility make it a great choice for Alderson Broaddus University students."
